Design Centre , Architects Engineers and Valuers established on 13th April 1986 on the Day of BASAKHI PONGAC NEW YEAR at College Road & Mall Road Dhalpur Kullu. Later on the office shifted to Sanik Chowk Bhuntar.Since last 30 years Design centre has its own identity in the field of Architect Planning Engineering, designing, Consultations & Project Management Consultancy.The development of tourism Industry in Himachal Pradesh specially in Kullu & Manali started with a pleasant note in the year 1986-87.Thousands of tourists were diverted from Kashmir to Himachal due to insurgency in J&K. They were Impressed by scenic.beauty of himachal & soon Kullu & Manali become new destination for tourist. The poor infra structure & inadequate hotel accommodation was noticed during this year( 1987). At that time Design centre a firm of Architects & Engineers was main service provider which was established in 1987 to provide Architectural & allied services to hotel industry in Kullu & Manali. All the works i.e selection of site, preparation of submission and working drawings, approval of map, and monitoring during construction are part of our job.The gap of first ten years up to 1997, about 80 big hotel were added in small town Manali and out ofthat70% of were designed by M/S Design centre. The process is still continue .
